Terms of Service

TRUEDEN Terms of Service · Effective January 1, 2027

These Terms are an agreement between you and The Center for Grief Recovery & Family Services, LLC, doing business as TRUEDEN ("TRUEDEN," "we," "us"). By creating an account, buying a course or Group Pass, or joining a group session, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Disclaimer and the Weekly Group Guidelines.

1. Who can join

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. Accounts are for one person and may not be shared.

2. What TRUEDEN provides

TRUEDEN offers individual Self-Care Mastery Consultations, courses based on the TRUEDEN™ Self-Care Mastery Model and live weekly group sessions led by Marsha A. Johnson. These programs are educational programs. They are not therapy, counseling, medical care or crisis services. Please read our Disclaimer.

3. Courses

  • Each course has 12 lessons. Your first course also includes a short bonus lesson, "My Core Values," which opens the day you sign up. Once you complete it, Lesson 1 of your course opens. You only complete My Core Values once; any course you take after that begins at Lesson 1. Marsha recommends starting with Spiritual Wellness, because it lays the foundation of core beliefs and values that guide all of TRUEDEN, but it is not required as your first course.
  • Lessons open one at a time, no sooner than 7 days after the previous lesson and only after you mark the previous lesson complete.
  • You keep access to the course lessons you have purchased for 12 months from your purchase date, subject to these Terms. If you pause your course, this period is extended by the length of your pause.

4. Weekly group sessions

  • Each course purchase includes 12 weeks of access to the live weekly group, starting on your purchase date. Weeks are counted on the calendar whether or not you attend; missed sessions are not carried over.
  • After your included weeks end, you may continue weekly support group sessions with a Monthly Group Pass.
  • Sessions are held online in Central Time, are limited to 20 participants per group, and are not recorded.
  • You must follow the Weekly Group Guidelines. We may remove anyone from a session, or end group access, for violating Group Guidelines.
  • If a session must be cancelled, we will try to give advance notice and will offer a make-up session at a later date.

5. Prices and payment

  • Course: $997 paid in full, or 3 monthly payments of $349 ($1,047 total). Helping Professional Rate: $699 paid in full, or 3 monthly payments of $249 ($747 total), for veterans, emergency personnel, medical professionals, mental health providers, teachers and staff of 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations; eligibility must be verified before the Helping Professional Rate is applied. Monthly Group Pass: $199 per month. Prices may change, but a change will not affect a purchase you have already made.
  • Payments are processed by our payment providers. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the purchase and any scheduled payments.
  • Payment plans: If you choose 3 payments, you agree to complete all 3, even if you stop using the course. If a scheduled payment fails and cannot be collected after retries, your access may be suspended until the balance is paid.
  • Monthly Group Pass: The pass renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future charges, and your access continues until the end of the month you have paid for. If a renewal payment fails and cannot be collected after retries, your pass ends.

6. All sales are final

All purchases are final, and we do not offer refunds, including for unused lessons, missed sessions or partial months.

7. Pausing your course

If life gets in the way, email [email protected] to pause your coursework and weekly group sessions. When you are ready, you can return to the lesson and to the group sessions where you left off. A pause may last up to 12 months. Your remaining group weeks and your 12-month course access are extended by the length of your pause. One pause per 12 months only.

8. Your conduct

You agree not to: share your login or course materials; record, photograph or capture any group session; share what other members say in a group; harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone; post unlawful or harmful content; or use the site in a way that disrupts it.

9. Our content

All course content, including lessons, videos, worksheets, assessments, models, graphics, the TRUEDEN name and logo, the TRUEDEN™ Self-Care Mastery Model, the Life Systems and Life Tanks frameworks and the TRUEDEN Trauma Wellness Model, belongs to TRUEDEN and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the content for your own growth. You may not copy, resell, teach, publish or create programs from it without our written permission.

10. What you share

You keep ownership of anything you write or share. By posting in a TRUEDEN community space, you allow us to display it there for the purpose of running the program. We will not publish your words, name or story outside the program, including as a testimonial, without your written permission.

11. Disclaimers

TRUEDEN programs are provided "as is." We do not promise any particular result. See our Disclaimer for important information about health, financial, legal and crisis topics.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, TRUEDEN and its owners will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of our programs, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Indemnity

You agree to cover any claims, losses or costs that arise from your violation of these Terms or misuse of TRUEDEN programs.

14. Ending your access

We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or the Group Guidelines. Sections 6, 9 and 11–15 continue after your access ends.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Osage County, Oklahoma, unless the law requires otherwise.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with its effective date and, for significant changes, notify members by email. Continuing to use TRUEDEN after a change means you accept it.
