TRUEDEN Privacy Policy 路 Effective January 1, 2027
This policy explains what information The Center for Grief Recovery & Family Services, LLC dba TRUEDEN collects, how we use it and the choices you have. TRUEDEN is an educational program, not a healthcare provider, so HIPAA does not apply to us. However, we still treat what you share with care.
1. What we collect
- Account and purchase details: name, email, phone (if given), billing address and purchase history. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
- What you tell us: intake form answers, assessment responses, check-in forms, emails and messages.
- Course activity: lessons completed, quiz results, group RSVPs and attendance.
- Technical data: device and browser type, IP address, pages visited and cookies, collected automatically by our website platform.
2. How we use it
To deliver your courses and group sessions; process payments; send lesson releases, reminders and account emails; recommend a next course based on your assessment; respond to you; improve our programs; and send our newsletter if you have subscribed.
3. Sensitive information
Intake and assessment answers may touch on your emotional health, relationships, finances or history. We use them only to run your program and to make sure TRUEDEN is a good fit for you. We do not sell them, and only Marsha A. Johnson can view them.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run TRUEDEN, such as Kajabi (website, courses, community and email), our payment processors (Stripe through Kajabi Payments, and PayPal if offered) and Google Workspace email. These providers may use it only to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to prevent serious harm to you or someone else.
5. Group sessions
Sessions are not recorded by TRUEDEN, and members agree not to record them. What other members choose to share in a group is outside our control; see the Weekly Group Guidelines.
6. Emails
You will receive emails about your purchases and account. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter and marketing emails at any time with the link in each email.
7. Cookies
Our website uses cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences and understand how the site is used. You can limit cookies in your browser, though some features may not work.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed for our records, taxes and legal obligations. You may ask us to delete your account and personal information; we will do so unless we must keep certain records by law.
9. Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or stop marketing emails, by writing to [email protected]. Residents of some states have additional privacy rights, and we will honor requests as required by law.
10. Security
We use reputable platforms with standard security protections. No online system is completely secure, so please use a strong password and keep your login private.
11. Children
TRUEDEN is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
12. Changes and contact
